Dentistry

The Department of Dentistry is situated on the ground floor of the hospital. It is equipped with dental chairs and dental X-ray unit. The department has provisions for scaling, extractions, silver filling, composite filling, cement filling as well as root canal treatment. A stream clave for sterilization of instruments is available as well.

Facilities for removable and fixed prosthesis treatment will be available soon. A Mobile Dental Van is also being provided for camps organized in the surrounding villages. Procedures like extractions, scaling and filing will be done in the mobile unit.

The department aims to start undergraduate degree course (BDS).
