Radio imaging and diagnosis generates vital information for the treatment of many diseases including cancer. The department from its inception, continues to play an important and significant role in the overall healthcare and academic activities of the institute. The department has a large number of research publications. The department instructs undergraduate medical students and postgraduate medical students in all aspects of radiology.
