The Department of Pathology has laboratory sections of Morbid Anatomy Laboratory, Clinical Pathology, Preparation room, Histopathology Laboratory, Cytopathology Laboratory, and Haematology Laboratory. Every section is equipped with state-of-art facilities and is actively involved in patient care, postgraduate teaching, and research.
The department offers postgraduate in M.D course. The department involves in extensive training program including lectures, tutorials, journal clubs, clinical seminars, group discussions, case presentation, group discussion and guest lecturers etc.
The department has a large number of modern and latest equipment as per MCI norms. The department provides the diagnostic services of Surgical Pathology, Cytology (including FNAC) and Autopsy pathology.
